A Story about Love

Before the world existed, Man and Woman found Virtue and Passion to be boring,

So, "Imagination" said "Why don't we play hide and seek?"

"Fool" replied "Oh yes, lets" and started to count: "80, 40, 4, 3.."

All went off and hid, except for "Love",

because.... of love's indecisiveness,

"Fool" started to count again "80, 60, 35, and 100!"

and "Love" jumped up and went and hid by a bush.

When "Fool" opened his eyes, the first person he found was "Lazy",

who was just crouching on his feet, because....he was lazy.

The second person he found was "Imagination" hiding behind a cloud

because..... she was imagination

Next, was "Innocence" who was hiding behind her hands

because..... this was innocence.

"Liar" was found over here, and not over there, where he said he would be,

because..... this was liar.

One by one all the Virtues and Passions were found except for "Love"

who was afraid of exposing herself.

"Envy", who was always preoccupied with others and not with herself,

told "Fool" that "Love" was hiding in the bushes.

"Fool" called out to "Love" to come out, but "Love" didn't come.

So all the virtues and the passions called out "Love, come out",

But again nothing happened.

This really made "Fool" angry, and he started shaking the bushes.

Just then he found a stick, and he picked it up and started poking it into

the bushes with all his might.

All at once there was a scream "Ay," and "Love" came out of the bush

holding her hands up to her eyes that had blood streaming from them.

Virtue and Passion were very, very sad, and they asked each other

what was going to happen to "Love".

But "Fool" said,

"Don't worry about "Love," I will look after her and be her eyes"

And from that day to this, that is why it is said that

"Love is blind, and only sees things through a fool's eyes!"

Wat a Beautiful Story

A son and his father were walking on the mountains.
Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams: “AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!”
To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain: “AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!”
Curious, he yells: “Who are you?”
He receives the answer: “Who are you?”
And then he screams to the mountain: “I admire you!”
The voice answers: “I admire you!”
Angered at the response, he screams: “Coward!”
He receives the answer: “Coward!”
He looks to his father and asks: “What’s going on?”
The father smiles and says: “My son, pay attention.”
Again the man screams: “You are a champion!”
The voice answers: “You are a champion!”
The boy is surprised, but does not understand.
Then the father explains:
“People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE.
It gives you back everything you say or do.
Our life is simply a reflection of our actions.
If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart.
If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence.
This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life.
Life will give you back everything you have given to it.”

STORY

~~A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet.

He held up a sign which said: ''I am blind, please help.''

There were only a few coins in the hat.
...

A man was walking by...

He took a few coins from his pocket 'n dropped them into the hat.

He then took the sign, turned it around, 'n wrote some words.

He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up....

A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy.

That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were.

The boy recognized his footsteps 'n asked,

'Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?

The man said, 'I only wrote the truth.

I said what you said but in a different way.

'What he had written was: "Today is a beautiful day 'n I cannot see it."

Do you think the first sign 'n the second sign were saying the same thing?

Of course both signs told people the boy was blind.

But the first sign simply said the boy was blind.

The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind.

Should we be surprised that the second sign was much more effective?

Moral of the Story:

Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently 'n

positively.

The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling,

THE COLOR OF FRIENDSHIP

Once upon a time the colors of the world started to quarrel. All claimed that they were the best. The most important. The most useful. The favorite. Green said:"Clearly I am the most important. I am the sign of life and of hope. I was chosen for grass, trees and leaves. Without me, all animals would die. Look over the countryside and you .will...l see that I am in the majority." Blue interrupted:"You only think about the earth, but consider the sky and the sea. It is the water that is the basis of life and drawn up by the clouds from the deep sea. The sky gives space and peace and serenity. Without my peace, you would all be nothing." Yellow chuckled:"You are all so serious. I bring laughter, gaiety, and warmth into the world. The sun is yellow, the moon is yellow, the stars are yellow. Every time you look at a sunflower, the whole world starts to smile. Without me there would be no fun." Orange started next to blow her trumpet:"I am the color of health and strength. I may be scarce, but I am precious for I serve the needs of human life. I carry the most important vitamins. Think of carrots, pumpkins, oranges, mangoes, and papayas. I don't hang around all the time, but when I fill the sky at sunrise or sunset, my beauty is so striking that no one gives another thought to any of you." Red could stand it no longer he shouted out:"I am the ruler of all of you. I am blood - life's blood! I am the color of danger and of bravery. I am willing to fight for a cause. I bring fire into the blood. Without me, the earth would be as empty as the moon. I am the color of passion and of love, the red rose, the poinsettia and the poppy." Purple rose up to his full height:He was very tall and spoke with great pomp: "I am the color of royalty and power. Kings, chiefs, and bishops have always chosen me for I am the sign of authority and wisdom. People do not question me! They listen and obey." Finally Indigo spoke, much more quietly than all the others, but with just as much determination:"Think of me. I am the color of silence. You hardly notice me, but without me you all become superficial. I represent thought and reflection, twilight and deep water. You need me for balance and contrast, for prayer and inner peace." And so the colors went on boasting, each convinced of his or her own superiority. Their quarreling became louder and louder. Suddenly there was a startling flash of bright lightening thunder rolled and boomed. Rain started to pour down relentlessly. The colors crouched down in fear, drawing close to one another for comfort. In the midst of the clamor, rain began to speak:"You foolish colors, fighting amongst yourselves, each trying to dominate the rest. Don't you know that you were each made for a special purpose, unique and different? Join hands with one another and come to me." Doing as they were told, the colors united and joined hands. The rain continued:"From now on, when it rains, each of you will stretch across the sky in a great bow of color as a reminder that you can all live in peace. The Rainbow is a sign of hope for tomorrow." And so, whenever a good rain washes the world, and a Rainbow appears in the sky, let us remember to appreciate one another.

Struggling Butterfly

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could, and it could go no further.
So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon.
The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings.
The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time.
Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.
What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God’s way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. If we go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. We could never fly!

Ever felt what is Love?

In a classroom there were several kids, when one of them asked the teacher:

- Teacher, what is LOVE?

The teacher felt the kid deserved the best answer she could give to that intelligent question. Since it was almost time for a break, she asked every student to go around the school and come back with something that would bring the feeling of love.

The kids rushed out the classroom, and when they came back the teacher said:

- So, I want everybody to show what you brought to the whole class.

The first kid said:
- I brought this FLOWER, isn't it beautiful?

The second kid said:
- I brought this BUTTERFLY. Look at these colorful wings, I am gonna put it in my collection!

The third kid said:
- I brought this YOUNG BIRD. It had fallen with another one from the nest. Isn't it cute?

And the kids were showing what they brought.

After almost everybody had showed their discoveries, the teacher noticed that there was a kid who had been quiet all the time. She was ashamed because she had not brought anything. The teacher went to her and asked:

- My dear, why haven't you brought anything? She then answered in an innocent voice:

- I am sorry teacher. I saw the FLOWER, and felt its perfume. I was going to take it, but I preferred to leave it so its perfume would last longer and others could feel it. I also saw the BUTTERFLY, soft, colorful. She seemed so happy that I did not want to disturb it. I also saw the YOUNG BIRD that had fallen between the leafs, but as I climbed the tree, I noticed the said look of it's mother, so I decided to return it to the nest. Therefore, I only bring with me: the perfume of the flower, the feeling of liberty of the butterfly and the gratefulness of the look of the little bird's mother...

teacher thanked the young kid and gave her an A, because she was the only one who realized that we can only bring LOVE in our hearts...
Love can only be felt...not possessed, If you try to possess it for your pleasure, then love can never be "LOVE"!!!

Rishte to nahi. . . Rishto ki parchaiyaan mile.

The Essence of Bhagavad Gita:

Every one of us have myriad of tenuous thoughts running in our minds daily, this is alone is a battle for us to overcome. Here is the essence of Bhagavad Gita, hope it makes you channel your thoughts into one that is less grandiose and beneficial for you and those around you:

Why do you worry without cause?
Whom do you fear without reason?
Who can kill you?
The soul is neither born, nor does it die.
Whatever happened, happened for the good;
Whatever is happening, is happening for the good;
Whatever will happen, will also happen for the good only.

You need not have any regrets for the past.
You need not worry for the future.
The present is happening ...

What did you lose that you cry about?
What did you bring with you,
Which you think you have lost?
What did you produce,
Which you think got destroyed?

You did not bring anything,
whatever you have, you received from here.
Whatever you have given, you have given only here.
Whatever you took, you took from God.
Whatever you gave, you gave to Him.
You came empty handed, you will leave empty handed.

What is yours today,
Belonged to someone else yesterday, and
Will belong to someone else the day after tomorrow.
You are mistakenly enjoying the thought that this is yours.
It is this false happiness that is the cause of your sorrows.

Change is the law of the universe.
What you think of as death, is indeed life.
In one instance you can be a millionaire, and
in the other instance you can be steeped in poverty.

Yours and mine, big and small
erase these ideas from your mind.
Then everything is yours and you belong to everyone.
This body is not yours, neither are you of the body.
The body is made of fire, water, air, earth, and
ether, and will disappear into these elements.

But the soul is permanent—so who are you?
Dedicate your being to God.
He is the one to be ultimately relied upon.

MY BIRTHDAY:):):)


What do I say about the day have no words...was filled with lots of surprises , happiness and very hectic day of work and very blessed day! There were very happy and surprising moments......Sometimes I feel each and everyday should b like a birthday with lots of surprises and happiness! It started on 24th June 11.30 was tired and feeling sleepy but as i have a habit of reading a novel and it was just an interesting ending of novel and i wanted to read it ! Finally i completed my novel reading and than saw my cell at 11:50 and saw that there was no network range... i switched on and off many times ...finally in 10 min range was back other wise i would have got so many galis and kicks from my friends ...because it always happens in this way whenever there is something important my cell network goes down ....they tell me as tera phone fek de or its always on silent lying here and there ! So I have got an habit to hear there galis on this issue! But finally it was 12:00 my Mom and dad wished me ..than phone rang and i knew it kaun call kar sakta hai ...and i knew it before only it would a call from my childhood school mates and i was right they had connected each other on a conferencing line My dear Geeta, Jigi , Amit, Chirag....and all wished me together as though i was cutting a cake on cell hahahaha! and My dear friend also played a Birthday Music wooooow ..i was really delighted of this we spoke on a conference line for sometime and they were all elling me continuously Ami range mai aaaa! though my network was jumping ! Finally in 15 min phone got disconnected due to network was completely out and there were 20 sms msgs in jus 15 min of talk and 10 missed calls ...oh my god all were trying to call me but i was busy in conference line with school friends !And than network was again in range in few minutes attended everyones call and thanked everyone for their best wishes! What was more interesting was when my very nearest and dearest one of my best friend Dimple called me up I was shocked because just one week back i made her aware about this special day because since 2 years from the day she is got married she forgets my birthday due to busy household chores and calls me after 5 - 6 days of my birthday and expects me to forgive her and as always i forgive her hahahaa! But this time she called me at 12:15 and i was shocked that she wished me right on time! And somewhere when i was talking to her I noticed that she was not at her inlaws place she had come home i asked her also but she told me she was at malad at her inlaws place only! .... Finally all calls ended and i was feeling asleep and was jus off to bed suddenly a door bell rang .... i was shocked who rang the bell at 1 -00 am....and bhai was asleep he wished me and got asleep due to his exams ! I went to open the door suddenly when i opened the door i found no one ...and suddenly there rang a music near stairs HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO U ! I thought its my neighbour aunty whose birthday was on the same day knocked the door and finally i turned back I was shocked because it was Dimple my best friend with a Happy Birthday Music on her cell ......I could not believe it that she came just to celebrate my Birthday and allo with a cake ! Mom and Dad also were surprized to see her at midnight ...though she stays near by my parents did not allow her to go back ...we cut the cake and clicked up so many snaps ...Ohh i remembered old memories how we used to celebrate each others birthday with lots of surprizes before her marriage! Than finally it was 2 she spoke a lot with my parents and I told my mom to sleep because she was not well and was on medication! Than me and dimple went in my room with a cake and snacks ...we had lot many things to talk and share with each other !Because we never had so much of time with us to share and talk after her married life started! But that day talking to each other it was 5 am ...than we both were feeling sleepy and she had to go back to her home at her moms place at 7 am ! we got asleep got up at 7.30 she hugged me and went back home in morning taking a promise i would meet her in afternoon at her moms place!...After she went back I prepared a breakfast and lunch as mom was not well...I got ready and did my morning prarthna and meditation according to my routine though it was late! Than I had to go to temple to feed the cows and pigeons which i do it daily .. reached there as soon as possible with a plan to go to siddhivinayak first which i go each and every year alone for ganpati bappas blessings on my birthday and New Year!This time it was late ... I took a train at 11:30 from Bhayndar to Dadar reached Siddhivinayak at 1:15 as i reached there found lot of rush.....as it was a weekend ....Its always full in weekend ...It took me stand for 1 and half hour in a queue with lot mnay phone calls arriving since morning and than as soon as i did darshan I was out of the temple at 3 and than meet Trupti at dadar one of my very special school mate she wished me and we jus took lunch and i went to MY work at 4 ...there also found surprizingly that there was no work and i took a permission and left for home ...!at 5:30 first I went to meet Dimple at her place...took a blessings from her mom dad and wishes from her siblings! Than said Final good bye to Dimple as she was going back to her inlaws home and thanked her a lot for her wonderful surprize for just coming specially for my birthday from her inlaws place!...When i reached home my brother was waiting with a surprize gift ! I Received many sms to check fb account so i just opened fb saw many birthday wishes flowing from all my dear ones thanked everyone for the wishes...got tired of travelling .... As there was no plans of going out for a dinner because mom was on medication .......so I went alone to Khadi for a walk ...sat near a sea face till 8 and came home had a dinner ...attended lotmany phone calls! Than it was 11:30 was feeling very sleepy and tired ....was jus expecting 2 calls from a very special people ...which did not arrive...But like each and every year apurv one of my special friend called up i was in a deep sleep that did not even came to notice that cell is ringing and brother picked up the phone and spoke to him and informed him that i m asleep he called me next day and wished me ! Sunday was good completed all my work at home on time and in afternoon went for some personal work to Borivali and than while returning at 5 pm in evening at home from Borivali We school friends made up a plan to meet each other maxus ....! I came home refreshed my self ...had a planned to meet Amit, Chirag and Jigu at restaurant..... again there was a cake cutting ceremony and lots of masti ......had a dinner ..than me and Jigu felt like taking a cool air ...we wanted to go to khadi (CREEK) but since it was late !we were standing near sky walk at Bhayandar and talking to each other and reached home late at 11:00 ... but I really missed one special call for my birthday! This is the way I Celebrated my BIRTHDAY! A very JOYOUS birthday with lot many blessings and wishes arriving .... Birthdays take us to our old memorable birthdays which was celebrated with lots of gifts, choclates and surprizes during our school time and college time ... I do miss my school teacher, tuition teacher, college professor, all my school and college friends Everyone !These Memories are really precious Last But not least M feeling blessed with all the blessings and wishes for my birthday which has come from all my near and dear ones.....Thank u to one and all for your blessings and best wishes to me it means a lot to me! What is faith?
Faith is mind power of yours that you can achieve a particular goal in life. Faith is also the staunch belief in some other person, some other supernatural power in life. Faith is strength of mind. Faith is abundant energy that your mind generates. If you have faith in yourself then you can achieve anything in life. Just like a stone may remain in water for numberless years; yet the water will never penetrate into it. But clay is soon soaked into mud by the contact of water. So the strong heart of the faithful does not despair in the midst of trials and persecutions, but the man of weak faith is shaken even by the most trifling cause. So be firm in your faith towards the goal you want to achieve in your life, then no power of world can stop you from achieving it.

The other aspect of faith is having strong belief in some supernatural power (God) in life & having the belief that you shall always be protected by that supernatural power called God. For an individual being God exists just because of that person's "Faith". If you have "Faith" in God then God has some meaning in your life, otherwise not. If you have Faith in God, then only you can know more of Him, otherwise your journey towards God just stops there. Faith in God elevates an individual's thinking process & it purifies the heart, emotions & soul and leads one to the vision of God.

Faith is the soul of every religion. It creates new hopes and awakens in one the presence of God. Faith is the eye that sees the Lord and the hand that clings to Him. Faith is power. Faith is strength. Faith is abundant energy. He who has faith in God is strong. He who doubts about God is weak. Strong faith in God precedes great actions. Faith illumines the spiritual path, builds a bridge across the gulf of death, and takes one to the other shore of fearlessness and deathlessness. Faith is the one which makes our perceptions & beliefs. If you have Faith & believe in religious scriptures, words of a saint, then you shall be able to turn toward the God.

So just have Faith in yourself & in the words of the God. It's the Faith in yourself & God which makes our perceptions & beliefs. If you have Faith in words of the Lord Krishna, then you shall be able to turn toward the God. It's Faith in God only which determines how you can mould your life. So just have Faith in the words of Lord Krishna & His teaching in Bhagwat Gita. Let's all pray to Lord Krishna who is supreme, divine & all powerful God. In this way God shall deliver us from all the miseries of life & shall protect us always in life.

PUSH for life

A man was sleeping at night in his cabin when suddenly his room filled with light, and God appeared. The Lord told the man he had work for him to do, and showed him a large rock in front of his cabin.

The Lord explained that the man was to push against the rock with all his might. So, this the man did, day after day.

For many years he toiled from sun up to sun down, his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive surface of the unmoving rock, pushing with all of his might. Each night the man returned to his cabin sore and worn out, feeling that his whole day had been spent in vain.

Since the man was showing discouragement, the Adversary (Satan) decided to enter the picture by placing thoughts into the weary mind:

“You have been pushing against that rock for a long time, and it hasn’t moved.”

Thus, he gave the man the impression that the task was impossible and that he was a failure. These thoughts discouraged and disheartened the man. Satan said, “Why kill yourself over this? Just put in your time, giving just the minimum effort; and that will be good enough.”

That’s what the weary man planned to do, but decided to make it a matter of prayer and to take his troubled thoughts to the Lord.

“Lord,” he said, “I have labored long and hard in your service, putting all my strength to do that which you have asked. Yet, after all this time, I have not even budged that rock by half a millimeter. What is wrong? Why am I failing?”

The Lord responded compassionately,

“My friend, when I asked you to serve me and you accepted, I told you that your task was to push against the rock with all of your strength, which you have done.”

“Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it. Your task was to push. And now you come to me with your strength spent, thinking that you have failed. But, is that really so?

Through opposition you have grown much, and your abilities now surpass that which you used to have.”

“Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscled, your back sinewy and brown; your hands are callused from constant pressure, your legs have become massive and hard.

Now I, my friend, will move the rock.”

“True, you haven’t moved the rock. But your calling was to be obedient and to push and to exercise your faith and trust in my wisdom. That you have done!”

At times, when we hear a word from God, we tend to use our own intellect to decipher what He wants, when usually what God wants is just a simple obedience and faith in Him.

By all means, exercise the faith that moves mountains, but know that it is still God who moves mountains.

MEDITATION






It is said that the deeper the meditation, the deeper would be the healing. The mind and body are intimately connected, and the relationship of the mind to the body in meditation is very interesting. The mind creates a situation in which we see the body as peaceful and beautiful. By creating peaceful feelings in the body, the mind is absorbed in those feelings. So although the body is the object to be healed, it also becomes the means of healing the mind which is the ultimate goal of meditation.

The process of meditation is nothing but trying to renew that contact which ever was and shall always be within me.

In our modern lifestyles, most of our time and effort is directed towards material well-being, and we often find that our lives have become complicated. We find ourselves longing for inner change, growth and spontaneity. We are pulled in different directions by multiple goals, and are unable to prioritize these to find the balance that give us a sense of well-being and joy.

Meditation trains our mind to regulate itself, leads us beyond the outer activity into the inner silence of our hearts, where we find ourselves connected to our Divine essence. The regulated mind and connection with our inner divinity develops in us a balanced state which is unaffected by the ups and downs of everyday life. Our natural capacity for wisdom and right action begins to manifest, allowing us to prioritize the conflicting demands of life.

Sustained practice of meditation develops a constant balanced state, a deep sense of connection with our inner selves and a lasting direction and meaning to our lives.

More and more people across the globe are turning to meditation, realizing that in order to reach our full potential as complete, balanced human beings, our inner spiritual longings must be addressed along with the material demands of daily life.

As a bird needs two wings to fly, so a human being needs the two wings of existence, the spiritual and the material, to lead a natural and harmonious life.
